Achievements

Upazila Ansar Company, Upazila Ansar, VDP members and members of the upazila are performing their duties efficiently with other law and order agencies. Besides, the forces are playing a vital role in the provision of security for public-private organizations, empowerment of women, elimination of illiteracy, cope with disasters, etc. General Ansar members are responsible for the security of roads and highways in national elections, Durgapuja, etc., with the traffic police, to protect the railways, to reduce traffic congestion, to government important important establishments including industrial establishments, factories, markets, banks, power stations. Besides, members of the Battalion Ansar, who have been deployed as a striking force in the conduct of mobile courts under the magistracy in Faridpur District Sadar Upazila, are performing their duties efficiently. National and local elections ensure the security of people's travel and livelihoods at various religious festivals, including security duties at polling booths in by-elections.

Various basic, technical and vocational training are being provided to improve human resources and socio-economic conditions of the country, eliminate unemployment and create skilled manpower.

Also, a new digital system based on AMIS has been launched to recruit all the Ansar members and automate all the related issues of Ansar.
